Avatar getting updated without updating the settings/profile data.

Describe the bug

When a user selects a new avatar or removes an already uploaded avatar, the avatar is updated without updating the profile data.
It should update the avatar after updating the profile.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to your profile by visiting this link: sitedomain.com/wp-admin/profile.php.
2. Locate the Avatar settings.
3. Click on 'Remove local avatar' if you have already uploaded one.
4. Click on '[Choose from Media Library]'.
5. Upload a new image.
6. Do not click the 'Update Profile' button.
