Would be possible to reproduce the Sound Volume function locally in ymal?

I am at the bridge to finally update my panel to the latest version (I stopped due bluetooth problems).

Now before I do that, and to prevent the WAF going down, I need to simulate/restore The sound volume option that was removed so it does not play loud notification sounds at night unless wanted.

I am not quite good with esphome ymal configurations, is there any way to expand the base functionality to restore this on my side?
