Disable cookie banner dark mode

Dear community,

I use the Mellisa theme and disabled the automatic dark mode for a website (Theme settings > Colors > Light), but the cookie banner still switches to dark mode if it is turned on in the browser settings. How can I get the cookie banner to adopt the theme settings?

Hi,

I always overwrite the cookie banner color constants based on the site’s color style.
This is a light color scheme I recently used in another theme, but it may not necessarily match your case.
Try applying it and customizing the color codes.
You need to paste it into Tools & Plugins / Custom CSS and save.

Hi,
I confirm that Melissa does not have a set of variables related to the color scheme (you can verify this in theme-variables.js). Therefore, the only viable solution is to customize the CSS.

Since version 4.0.0, the Mellisia theme has been built using CSS variables and also includes full dark-mode support.
