Right now the CSV export only gives you your text and metadata — it does not export the actual embeddings, graph, or indexes. There’s also no direct "import and restore" feature yet. If you want to move or back up your data, just keep: -your original documents/chunks -any metadata -any preprocessing/chunking logic you used To recreate the state on another instance, simply re-ingest the data and the system will regenerate the embeddings and graph. |

As creating embeddings and knowledge graph can be expensive with much data I asked myself how to transfer and backup them?
The docs have a section for exporting data
But how can I use this CSV to import them to another instance? And what data do I addtionally need to backup / transfer for recreation of old state?
