Reviews on requests depending on variables set in the survey?

Hi all,

I have found no knobs in the requests or operations settings, hence my question:

Is it possible to only auto-accept requests depending on one variable that is given by the user?

Think of things like stages (dev, qa, prod). Allow the user to do something if variable stage is set to dev or qa, but require a review if stage is set to prod?

You can use a hook that call a playbook that is going to check the var and call to squest api to accept the request.

OK, after removing auto-accept from the operation, it almost works.

If the condition in the auto-accept is NOT true, the request is being stopped until the review is made. Once reviewed and approved

But if the condition is true, the request is being accepted, but it hangs in processing:

Hmm, I built a new service and a new approval workflow, but the issue is the same.
If I do not set the auto-accept flag on the operation, it stalls in both cases. If it is set to true, it shows the behaviour described above.

The checkbox you need is not auto-process in this case? Meaning that once all steps are accepted it's executed.

I have enabled auto-process on the operation.

For the PROD request, it is being stalled, I manually approve and it runs fine from then one.

For the non-PROD request, it is being automatically approved, but then hangs in "Accepted" state, waiting for me to review, as shown in the screenshot.

Also for services without an approval workflow, enabling auto-process let's them run fine without any intervention.
