GTK and GNOME have deprecated X11 backend

As the title says, both GTK and GNOME have deprecated their X11 backends and plan to remove them in the future (GTK 5 and GNOME 50, respectively).

According to this, immediate action is not required since the support will stay there for the entire GTK4 lifetime.

But I'm interested about what is your stance on this, since this app is made for X11 and uses GTK4+libadwaita.

This tool was designed to add gesture support in X11. Wayland compositors can already support it easily without additional tools.

Since there is no way to port it to Wayland, I won't update it to GTK 4 and I expect less and less people to use Touchégg as Wayland gets wider adoption.
