I have two identical cameras - C310, hardware V1. latest firmware 1.3.16, both with active accounts and the same login credentials. The only difference is that camera_1 is connected via an Ethernet cable, while camera_2 is on Wi-Fi.
I am currently at a remote location, trying to set up the Home Assistant add-on: Tapo Camera Control to view a live stream. Camera_1 connects without any issues, but camera_2 cannot complete the cloud login, reporting an 'Invalid cloud password' error.
Both cameras work perfectly fine through the Tapo Android app; I can perform all configurations, watch live streams, and download recordings from the SD card. I have already tried rebooting the camera, but it didn't help. I am reluctant to perform a factory reset, as I would lose the connection to my Android app.
What else can I check or do to connect this camera to Home Assistant? I have already ruled out a port conflict by testing them separately. I first connected to camera_1, deleted the configuration, and then connected to camera_2—camera_1 worked flawlessly, but camera_2 refused the connection. The connection also fails even when I create a configuration for camera_1 and only change the IP address to that of camera_2. A Telnet test to port 443 on both cameras works fine.
