Feature Request: Expose whether the Camera is in Night Mode or not

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am trying to trigger external lights (i.e. not the spot light, the room lights) based on the C120 camera's motion detection, but only if it's dark enough that the camera's black and white mode is triggered. I was hoping I could avoid having to buy an explicit light sensor for the room.

Expose the status of the IR lights or night vision camera

Not possible unfortunately, camera does not report this. You could analyse the picture in stream for black and white or monitor energy consumption as well.
