how to use UI control from "create new node window"

Does it work if I add a virtual joystick in the create new node window?

When I added it via "create new node window", the joystick is not visible at all.

So I opened the addon/virtual_joystick/virtual_joystic_scene.tscn file and copied the objects into it.
