As a matter of fact, we did not develop anything related to Chrome extensions thus far. Please do note that this basically depends upon the implementation of the upstream browser engine (CEF resp. CefSharp) which is based on Chromium, not Chrome. SEB does provide access to the developer tools (see https://safeexambrowser.org/windows/win_usermanual_en.html#AppearancePane > Browser Window Toolbar), so you'd need to evaluate the situation yourself directly within SEB. |

Hi all,
We are developers of Lingdys for Chrome which is an assistive tool extension for students with Dyslexia in Norway. We have a lot of Chromebook users which currently use our Chrome extension, and from May 2026 their schools will be forced to use Safe Exam Browser. How can we ensure that they are able to use our Chrome extension while users your browser?
URL to our extension: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/lingdys-for-chrome/ilglobbeckliiacnbnohbbefhkoloblo
We at Everway are also more then happy to attend any virtual meeting with you if possible.
All the best,
Troels (Head of Tech. Support)
