Wayfire is about to be removed from Debian

Hi All,
see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1120307 -- the Wayfire package has needed a new maintainer for a long time and is now blocking the update of wlroots, so the current plan is to remove it unless someone steps up to update the package (and eventually adopt it). I might try to do it, but I have limited time and also limited experience with Debian packaging, so not sure if I'll be successful. So any help is appreciated if there are Wayfire users our there with more experience -- it would be really nice to keep Wayfire in Debian :)

thanks, I managed to resolve it for now, it should make it back to testing in a couple of days: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/wayfire

So things should be fine now at least until wlroots 0.20 is released and Debian wants to upgrade again :)

I'm looking into wcm and wf-shell -- these were already in Debian and needed only minor changes. I'm less confident about w-p-e, it might be more work, and I'm not sure how keen Debian maintainers would be on accepting more packages when they are already struggling with the existing ones :) However, if it turns out to be not too complicated, I'll just submit it on mentors.debian.net and see if it gets accepted.
