Backend server whitelist/blacklist

Hello, I would like to be able to configure servers where placeholders should be retrieved from the server.

The most flexible way would probably be to be able to configure a whitelist and/or blacklist of backend servers from which placeholders should or should not be proxied.

For example, we use limbo servers where this proxy plugin is not needed, so It would be nice to be able to exclude these servers or include the other servers.

Could you consider adding this feature? Thanks!

Not too sure exactly if I understand you. PAPIProxyBridge needs to be installed on backends to talk with the PlaceholderAPI to actually do the formatting, before passing those back over to the proxy via PluginMessage/Redis.
If it's not, placeholders... won't be able to be parsed. :) So what are you asking for exactly?

On our server, we use PAPIProxyBridge to proxy Essential's AFK placeholder from our backend survival server, but that functionality is not required anywhere else (eg. on lobby or limbo). Currently, the plugin works as expected, placeholder works on the survival server and is empty on all the other servers. The only problem is that the plugin currently spams the console with messages about missing plugin on the other backend servers, when there are players on them.

I would like to be able to exclude backend servers from the plugin on the proxy side, where the plugin is not needed.

I agree with FZnachor, some servers don't need placeholder, and installing PAPIProxyBridge on all of them just to remove spam is not very good :v
