enable modifying values per mousewheel

I'd like fields that can currently be modified by drag & drop to be modifiable by mousewheel as well.

We should make that a preference entry. When working in a scrollable area (effects), you might accidentally change values on a touchpad.

Looks like there are some hacks to guess, if it was a trackpad or mousewheel input but nothing really reliable.
