Clarification on roadmap: @dnd-kit/react vs @dnd-kit/core

Hello! I’ve been exploring the new @dnd-kit/react API and wanted to understand the current roadmap and future direction.

Here are a few things I’d like clarification on:

Stability timeline:
Is there an ETA for when @dnd-kit/react will reach a stable, production-ready release?

Using the old core package:
For now, is @dnd-kit/core still considered stable and safe for production use, especially for new projects?

Deprecation plan:
Will @dnd-kit/core eventually be deprecated or phased out? If so, is there any approximate migration timeline we should plan for?

Migration guidance:
Should new projects start directly with @dnd-kit/react or stick to @dnd-kit/core for stability until the new API matures?
