Constant freezing and disconnects in multiplayer zeroclient #8041

Hey there, I play this with 3-4 people and we will often get freezes for a few seconds or more that end up in a single player being disconnected due to timeout. It happens every 30 minutes or so usually and we're using zeroclient. The player who gets disconnected is random as we have all been disconnected this way. Anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it? |

Since there is no server it's more sensitive to network issues between any of the players. You can try TCP which avoids the extra network layer but requires the person that sets up the game to expose a port |

It seeemed better but as the host I kept getting silent crash to desktops constantly while I was in town. I don't get any crashes when we're in ZeroClient though. |

On Windows, characters are saved in
%appdata%\diasurgical\devilutionby default, in files that end with the.svextension for Diablo and.hsvextension for Hellfire. For other platforms besides Windows, check this page for some other common default locations: https://github.com/diasurgical/DevilutionX/wiki/Config-File.I believe 1.6.0 doesn't see your character because it is in a file with the
.hsvextension, which is the extension for Hellfire characters. Like AJenbo said, Hellfire doesn't fully work yet in 1.6.0 so you should expect to see some problems if you switch to it. Currently, I would recommend creating a new character in Diablo if you intend to try things out using a test build.…
