Feature Request: Sticky Directory Path Bar in Image Gallery #135

Description:
When browsing a directory in Image Gallery with multiple subdirectories, the current UX causes the directory name to scroll away as you browse further down a long gallery. It’s often unclear which folder’s images are being viewed after scrolling through many images.

Suggestion:
Please add a sticky directory path bar at the top of the gallery view. When expanding a directory to view its images, this path bar should remain visible (like freezing a row in Google Sheets) while the user scrolls through images in the gallery.
This would make it easy to identify which directory’s images are being browsed at any time, especially when working with deeply nested folders or after excessive scrolling.

Benefits:

  • Quickly know your location in the folder hierarchy

  • Easier navigation through large image galleries

  • Consistent context for users when scrolling through many images

Example/Reference:
Similar to “Freeze 1 row” in Google Sheets: when you scroll, the top bar with the directory path remains visible.
