Hold Key To Show Zone Overlay

Holding a key like shift will show the zone overlay and hide it when the key is released.

I believe the default one is Ctrl+Alt+C

KWin API doesn't support getting key states, also shift would conflict with the built-in tiling system.

Since you know a bit about built in tiling system, is there a way to disable the default key binds for tiling?
Alt + Shift, Ctrl + Shifft and Meta + Shift are all taken by built-in tiling... thats such a waste of keybinds for those who don't use kWin tiling.

Also is there a way to add that hold key functionality to kZones? like holding Meta+Alt would do that?
All my window transformations are based on Meta + Alt

I use Meta + Alt + Numpad keys to switch layout,
Meta + Num keys for Zones,
Meta + Num keys (With Num lock on) for moving windows to any corner and middle of screen (with Move Window kWin Script)

So if this holding key functionality is somehow added, I could put Meta + Alt or just Meta or Alt to show when held
