Performance Overlay suddenly worked on Raspberry Pi. #1733

Describe the bug
My launch command is:
export DISPLAY=:0 && moonlight-qt
The settings display a warning that the Raspberry Pi does not support the performance overlay/stats. However, yesterday after reinstalling Sunshine, it suddenly worked and displayed the overlay, but today it is not working again. Why is this happening? If it truly isn't supported, it should be consistently unavailable.
Today, no matter what I try, nothing works. Yesterday, however, I noticed that when I switched the gamepad to mouse mode, the on-screen text overlay appeared with the mode change confirmation. I then tried the performance overlay, and it actually worked! Today, all text overlays, including the mouse mode switch prompt, have stopped working again. It's so strange/magical.
