Describe the enhancement

Add a text sensor (or something similar) for effective Wi-Fi authentication security (WPA, WPA2 or WPA3) so that it can be shown e.g. in the WebServer, or maybe on connected displays?

Use cases

My goal is to have the effective Wi-Fi authentication security shown the the WebServer inferface. I already have MAC, IP addresses, SSID, signal strength and so on, but authentication security is missing.

Anything else?

I searched the 2025.11 documentation for something that fits what I need but didn't find any.
