Component name
pulse_meter

Describe the enhancement
the pulse_meter is a really nice component as usage for flow. rates and watermeter counters.
there is a way to reset the counter on bootup
id: watermeter_pulse
value: 0
this resets the total: component to zero but the esphome webgui still displays NA
after triggering the pulse_meter it advancs to 1 which clearly shows it was reset to 0 but that value was not updated in the gui
Use cases
gasmeters, watermeters
when you reboot you want the correct values back.
getting them back is no problem but total: should update once it receives a new value.
since total is not the main device(pulse_meter is) it only update after it gets triggered again
Anything else?
this should be really easy to implement. update the total value whenever the variable behind it changes
