Describe the enhancement
When building devices where LEDs are added to indicate states other than the device state it would be great to have a separate domain with all the same functionalities with light domain, such that it is not mixed with the light domain.
In other words the light domain should be dedicated for components that their main purpose is to illuminate an area while a new domain (e.g. indicator_light) should be used for lights with main purpose to inform of a state
Use cases
I have a few Gosund SW9 wall switches (no longer available) that have a a green and red light on each button.
The green light is used as status led while the red as leds to make the buttons discoverable at night.
In Home Assistant automations if I want to target the light components (actual light fittings) in a room, inadvertently those indicator lights are also targeted which is definitely not what I want.
Also when querying how many lights are ON, I don't want those indicator LEDs to be counted in as they are not
Another use case I have is an indicator LED in the living room to inform that the oven has finished preheating.
