Describe the enhancement

I'd like to be able add the default Lights dashboard available in the Settings -> Dashboard view to the sidebar for easy access.

Use cases

This would allow me to see all of my lights without creating my own dashboard when it already exists and without cluttering up my default dashboard.

Similar to how you can add pretty much every other dashboard to the sidebar.

Sidebar visibility is enabled at a per-user level from the user profile.

Go to your profile and select:

@karwosts I also got caught out by this. Seems like it's the intended behaviour, but it is quite confusing when you go to the dashboard settings and see a bunch of built-in dashboards all showing ticks for "in sidebar", but by default they aren't actually in the sidebar.

I think the "In Sidebar" ticks can be a bit misleading - especially since the default HA profile has sidebar visibility for many of the other built-in dashboards disabled by default. Maybe the answer is just that users need to figure out or find out about the profile option you mentioned above. Although, I'd argue it would be more user friendly if the check mark on "In Sidebar" looked slightly different if the dashboard is added to the sidebar, but hidden in the current profile. If there was a different marker and a tooltip on hover that said something along the lines of "Added to sidebar, but hidden for current user", that would clear up most of the confusion and inform people that they need to go edit the per-user level sidebar settings.
