Describe the enhancement
Currently the sensor updates (price, etc) seem to be occurring at least 30 seconds and up to 1 minute into the 5 minute interval and if the price is estimate (attribute "Estimate" = true) they are updated again about a minute later.
This delay means that for 30 seconds or more the prices and forecasts are stale as they might have changed, specially during spikes, and any automations that control import/exports do so need to pause importing/exporting until the price is updated or risk buying/selling at the wrong price
The enhancement request is to update the entities exactly at the start of the 5 minute interval.
Use cases
In the recent NSW spike (Nov 26 $21.74 kWh sell and $24.01 kWh buy) a system able to import/export at 20kWh would have been able to import/export 0.33 each minute ($7.2 sell and $8 buy ). The spike lasted 15 minutes so pausing/not pausing three times for up to a minute would have cost a theoretical maximum of $21.6 in missed exports or $24 in additional imports.
In the attached image you can see how pausing at the beginning of the spike intervals limited the export (usage column) to a max of 1.258 kWh of a possible 1.666 kWh which could have been avoided , at least in the 2nd and 3rd interval.
