Describe the enhancement
In the most recent energy dashboard update date selection was moved from the top bar, to a card to the dashboard. I propose moving the date selection back to the top bar so it remains visible while scrolling the page.
Use cases
I love the new energy dashboard, but there’s one change that’s been bugging me. I like to occasionally flip through the last few days worth of data to compare usage across different days. This has been very helpful for troubleshooting and identifying odd days of usage. While this can be done in the history dashboard, it is tedious and not as well laid out as it is in the existing energy dashboard.
In the recent change to the energy dashboard the date selection has moved from the top bar, down to a card on the dashboard. While this visually is a nice improvement, it means than now when i scroll down to view things like the individual device usage charts i can no longer jump from day to day without scrolling back to the top of the page, since the date selection disappears once the top of the dashboard is no longer visible.
I would love to see this functionality return to the top bar as this has been something I find myself using quite often.
Thanks to the developers for all their hard work!
Visual examples
heres a screenshot of the energy dashboard as i start to scroll down showing how it disappears from the page.
