Hehe, I mean as you're getting more active I'm happy to help you get it in, with testing I'm quite confident that HA would do the right thing, it's more that SmartThings should behave like it promises.

Cloud solutions sometimes have strange and undocumented behavior. At first glance, I see one problem: this stove has a removable shelf and can operate in both normal and dual-mode, so I'm curious how it's covered in API.

Just checked on my oven. The main component is responsible for both single and upper modes (depending on separator presence), while cavity-01 (bottom) has status flag "ovenCavityStatus=[on|off]"
