Hi,
I noticed that in the new dashboard it is possible to display the temperature and humidity of a room. We have to link it in the Area settings.
But each room in my house has a thermostat. Unfortunately, this data cannot be displayed as doesn't match the expected SensorEntity filtering.

Would it be possible to extend this function to include the state values (current_temperature and current_humidity) of the climate?
I think this would benefit many users.

I am looking for exactly the same thing. I have wall mounted thermostats with hygrometers in every room and would really like to display them - preferably without adding a helper for every device.

I would like to push this feature request because I also find this implementation very helpful. I use Bosch wall thermostats (BTH-RM230Z/ RBSH-RTH0-ZB-EU) and currently I can only use the temperature with an helper. The humidity is already displayed as a sensor.
