So you know how you have a certain skin layout that you've edited yourself on lazer? Here is mine for example:
On playfield, I have no LegacyHealthDisplay, no LegacyScoreCounter, no DrawableGameplayLeaderboard, no SpectatorList and a smaller LegacyDefaultComboCounter. That's a bunch of configurations for someone picky like me.
And in menu, I have a BeatmapAttributeText showing max pp of the map I'm selecting, placed at a very specific position for it to fit into the corner (outside of the editor).
Idea
Well what if I want to save that preset onto another skin of mine, like here?
Now sure, this can be debated and in some cases, skins could be reconfigured manually. But what if someone has a very complicated layout with a much greater amount of components, or perhaps important BeatmapAttributeText hexcodes, and so on?
Presets
Well here is where I suggest we should have some sort of preset saver, where you can save a skin's layout placement (components along with their positioning and hexcodes, both in Song Select and Gameplay) then be able to paste it onto any other skin you own?
Consider some examples:
Those skins that use a LegacySongProgress and LegacyAccuracyCounter in the center and you want that to be exactly copy-pasted onto another skin that doesn't have it.
Or a skin with Lazer-only components that you want to paste somewhere without having to handplace everything down a second time? Creativity goes a long way.
To conclude, this is very open to discussion, like extra suggestions people may wanna add or anything some may want to debate, what I wrote is only a base idea. Hope to see some exciting answers!
