Multiple button press issue

Are there any fixes or work around for having to initiate it open more than once before the door opens? I’m current running ratgdo32-disco with the latest esphome firmware. I’ve tried a new version over the last few months, but this issue persists. It even appears to affect wall button presses which I don’t ever recall the buttons having the issue prior to adding a ratgdo.

I also had the same issue on 2.5x device with both mqtt and esphome firmware. I used both these ratgdo’s on home ridge but last week I set it up on HomeAssistant to see if it’s better there. It’s not but maybe a can create a work around automation.

I also have this issue with a ratgdo32 that I bought a few months back running what HA reports to be firmware 32.0 (ESPHome 2025.5.1). About two out of three encounters, I have to press the button a second time to open the door. On the first press that doesn't work, pressing harder or longer makes no difference, I have to release and then press it a second time with just about any amount of force for the door to open on the second triggering.
