Ratgdo does work, Can connect WebUI, But MQTT does not work

Hi,

does anybody has an Idea for my Problem.

I have an Chamberlain ML1040EV

Ratgdo is in my network and I can connecto to the WebUI. I can push "Query status" and see in the log all States. I can toggle light and Open and Close the Door. But I did not get any Result in my Home Assistant.

I have restarted the ratgdo, have updated to the latest Firmeware with no result.

MQTT support is not compiled in the pre-built firmware, you would have to update your own yaml and recompile.
If you are using Home Assistant, there is no reason to enable MQTT support because HA is made to use the native ESP Home API.

Hi @PaulWieland sorry, I thought I can also see the information for ESPHome devices in the MQTT Explorer. But I was mistaken, because I previously ran ratgdo without the ESPHome firmware. Unfortunately, the problem is still there. The device entities are suddenly unavailable. At some point (after 1-2 days), it suddenly seems to work again.

Strange. I have deleted the Device from my Home Assistant and added it again in ESPHome. The Device is now available.
