New Editor Service Task with Error Boundary Event

I wanted to test a service task with an Error code. So I tried to add a boundary event to the Service task. Then it shows an error message in the editor.

Not that it is a great error, but this happens because we show validation errors from the library in real time as you edit. This same error, I believe, would happen in spiff arena if you saved the diagram in this state and tried to run it. When you change the bountry event type this validation error should go away.

Yes, it happens like you have said.
In spiff arena the error message will be visible to the user only if he tries to save it at that state, which will not happen generally.
Here the odd thing is as soon as we add the boundary event it shows this error to the user which is bit confusing.
But I understand what you have explained. I guess it happens because of the auto save.
