2.5 Excluded Web Users [Example]

Example of people who are excluded from using the web because of use of a spec. Accessibility and specs that require high data speeds:

• Web GPU. - excludes people with older devices
• frame/frameset - excluded screenreader users
• @fontface - excludes people who have low internet speeds or limited/capped data plans
• autoplay - excludes screenreader users, people with cognitive disabilities, & people with sensoring processing disorders &/or motion-sickness.

• Payments APIs tend to be highly proprietary and so can lead to distortions, if not outright exclusion
