Ignore some ignore files :)

For some Docker images, we set up to skip development files, and Claude-context automatically ignores them, which have the key information for agents to look for. How can we prevent Claude-context from ignoring some ignorefiles?

Just stumbled upon this.

The automatic ignoring is too eager. All configuration is additive and there is no way to override the defaults.

It makes no sense to use .dockerignore to decide which files are to be included into code indexing. For example, if you build Rust or Go project where prod container only contains single binary artifact, your .dockerignore will often be:

i.e. no code files are allowed.

This kills all indexing.

Critical Assessment:

Quality: F (Complete Failure) - System cannot index any files
Root cause: Inappropriate use of .dockerignore patterns for code indexing
Design flaw: MCP server should not apply Docker ignore patterns to code scanning

In it's current form, the project is only useful for scripting languages.

My current plan is to try to workaround the flaw by running claude-context in a container and mount an empty .dockerignore file on top of the project dir.
